Embodied, Ethical, and Responsive Care will be held Saturday, May 30 at 12pm EST / 9am PST
In this workshop, participants will explore how to offer care that is grounded, adaptable, and responsive to the real needs of the moment. This session is designed to support doulas in building confidence with practical tools while also deepening their ability to trust their presence, intuition, and relational awareness. Together, we will explore how embodied practice can strengthen ethical decision-making, responsive support, and birth planning that centers safety, autonomy, and responsive care.
Workshop goals:
- Explore what embodied care looks like in doula practice
- Strengthen skills for offering ethical and responsive support in real time
- Practice balancing learned tools with intuition, observation, and presence
- Integrate safety, autonomy, and responsive care into birth planning
- Engage scenarios and discussion that deepen confidence, flexibility, and relational trust

This workshop will be led by Mar Jones
