Navigating Client-Partner Dynamics will be held Wednesday, August 20 at 12:30pm EST / 9:30am PST

In this session, we'll explore how to manage the layered complexity of working with not just clients—but entire support systems. We'll unpack triangulation, blurred boundaries, unrealistic expectations, and the pressure doulas often feel to be the "fixer." Participants will practice language and strategies for maintaining trust while also protecting their lane.

This workshop is led by Tamela Hughes, LPC

Tamela Hughes, LPC is the founder of Courage To Thrive Consulting, where she works as a Relational Wellness Consultant helping people, programs, and communities build emotionally sustainable environments. Her work centers around three core tiers: reproductive transitions & postpartum identity support, educational training & speaking, and organizational culture & emotional wellness consulting.
