Join us at DTI’s Immersion Retreat this October in beautiful Sonoma, California. DTI is welcoming aspiring and seasoned doulas at the Star West Ranch to embrace their creativity and entrepreneurial spirit. This is a place for women to come together to share, reflect, and brainstorm the full scope of all that goes into the experience of being a doula. If you want to say YES to our program and become a DTI doula–this is the time to join our tribe!
These days together at the ranch will be a time of learning, deepening, and discussion. Overnight and day-only pricing options are available. Join us in this Immersion Retreat and become a part of a new movement created by doulas for doulas.
October 9-13 is for novice birth and postpartum doulas. This is the ultimate experience in doula trainings that gives you the knowledge to offer continuous care, hands-on skills, and comprehensive information to your clients. Our program continues after the 5-day training with 9-months of tele-classes with your doula mentors. This 5-day combination training provides all the tools you need from the very beginning and then deeply supports you in becoming a confident and knowledgeable doula. No other program offers such personal support. DTI’s foundation is built on providing women with the tools and guidance that we wish we had as novice doulas starting out in the field years ago. We want to see our doulas achieve certification and prosper in their doula practice. After this training you will be trained as both a labor support doula and a postpartum doula. You will also leave with the knowledge of how to implement both practices as a professional doula. Our 9-month certification program is a new model for doulas wanting much MORE than just a training and our combo training offers it all at one time! We make sure that you have three key ingredients that doulas need to prosper–ongoing mentorship, business skills, and an initiation into a tribe of modern doulas dedicated to re-imagining the future for pregnant women, babies, and families. No previous experience is needed.
October 12-13 is for seasoned doulas who feel aligned with DTI and want to take their practice to the next level. This is an opportunity to deepen and expand your understanding of the larger role that doulas play as birth workers in our field. We will discuss both the joys and challenges of this work and offer a time for each woman to reflect on her career. This is a unique opportunity to bring your years of wisdom and experience to our community of women, and learn from each other through story circles, workshops, mastermind sessions, in-depth conversation and most importantly, life experience. Again, we know that doulas need doulas to thrive. Not only will you be building community and sisterhood but our vision is that you will leave this retreat with a stronger network base and individual support to bring your personal vision to fruition! We want our doulas to feel like they are taking full accountability of their own career. We LOVE that our doulas can incorporate other modalities into their practice and support you in bringing all your tools into your practice. And once you certify with DTI, you are certified for life! This 1.5-day workshop, followed by an inspirational networking lunch, will leave you energized and ready for GROWTH.
