DTI Goes On Tour: Join Us For Born Into This Pop-Ups Across The US

We’re less than four months away from DTI’s 2019 conference, Born Into This! And as we prepare, we want to meet with you.

Over the next two months, we’ll be hosting Born Into This pop-ups in select cities to view panels from last year’s conference and discuss some of the topics we’ll be presenting at Born Into This in 2019. All tickets raised from these pop-ups will benefit DTI’s scholarship fund for LGBTQ-identifying doulas and doulas of color. (Tickets are on a sliding scale of $15 to $50.)

Join us on the tour:

• San Francisco  — March 2 from 6 to 8:30 PM @ The Clubhouse

Curious about Born Into This?

We are caretakers. We are creatives. We are community-builders. We are doulas supporting doulas. We are born into this.

And we are proud to announce that our annual Born Into This conference will be back for its second run from June 6 to June 8, 2019. This summer, we’ll host a community of 200 birth workers, holistic health professionals, thoughtful leaders and creators in Austin, Texas for three days of discovery, accountability, resource-sharing and skill-building.

Curated by DTI, each day of the conference explores social justice, entrepreneurship, technology and creativity. Centered in interdisciplinary thought, the conference aims to make sense of the birth world’s intersections and context, as well as its relationship to our own practice as members of the field. Together, we will learn and organize to better serve our professional development and collective wisdom.

Building off of last year’s inaugural conference, Born Into This 2019 will also introduce a few changes. This year, we’re including a third day of programming, accepted community proposals and submissions for panels and lectures and awarded scholarships for waived general admission (both now closed). General admission and deluxe tickets are now available. Click here to learn more.
